Description of Project
This project is part of Trans Sumatera Toll Road (JTTS) which will be planned to span from northern part to southern part of Sumatra Island connecting Nangroe Aceh Darussalam province and Lampung province. This project is one of the sections located in South Sumaterawith the total length of 22 Km and is divided into three sections: (1) Section I: Palembang – IC Pemulutan; (2) Section II: IC Pemulutan – IC KTM; (3) Section III: IC KTM – Simpang – Indralaya. This section is expected to accommodate the projection of daily traffic increase between Palembang and Indralaya cities in the Southwest of Palembang city. With the completion of the toll road, it is expected that volume of vehicles will be distributed, regional economy will be boosted and the toll road will provide access to and from Indralaya and Palembang.
