Latest Status | : | Stage I of land procurement for 67 ha land has been started since May 2016 using Regional Budget of South Sumatera Province, it has gone through measurement process by Consulting Services for Valuation and Professional Property Economics (KJPP), and compensation process for land was expected to be completed in the end of 2016. The Government of South Sumatera Province has allocated fund worth 17 Billion Rupiah for road construction within the special zone. Budget for Detailed Engineering Design (DED) for construction of management building of the special zone, road ROW 35, water treatment plan and distribution network, waste water treatment system and drainage has been submitted to Ministry of Industry. Secretary of the Special Zone Board and Administrator of KEK Tanjung Api – Api have been determined. Whilst Regional Government-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) PT. Sriwijaya Mandiri Sumsel has been established and in the process of equity capital. |
Description of Project
Tanjung Api – Api Special Economic Zone (KEK) proposed by governor of South Sumatera has been determined through a regulation, i.e., PP No. 51 of 2014 dated 30 June 2014. Development of Tanjung Api-api KEK is focused on the main industries like rubber, palm oil and petrochemical.
