Description of Project
The 39 km long toll road will connect two biggest cities in North Sulawesi Utara, namely Manado and Bitung. This project will be divided into two sections, i.e. Section 1: Manado – Airmadidi and Section (2) Section 2: Airmadidi – Bitung. The project is expected to increase traffic at Manado – Bitung route, boost tourism sector and economic growth in Manado, North Minahasa Utara and Bitung. The toll road will also be the main access to Bitung Special Economic Zone (KEK) and a Hub of Bitung’s international seaport which will be built.
