The refinery is planned to use a configuration system which includes system collaborations like petrochemicals system. A combination of Grass Root Refineries (GRR) and Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) is needed to enhance the provision of crude oil and oil fuel in Indonesia to be able to reduce import dependence.<\/p>\n<p>It is expected that the construction of Bontang refinery will not face significant issues in land procurement process because a 300 hectares area has been made available.
