| Latest Status | : | Action Plan of Sorong Special Economic Zone (KEK) Development has been drawn up, infrastructure in the region that will be provided are land finalization, construction of the main road and road to rural environment. Infrastructure in the region that is being built by Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing is a 3 Km national road, which runs through the region, and connects to Arar Seaport. Infrastructure in seaport area will also be adjusted to the need of Sorong KEK in the future, by developing Sorong Seaport as the initial stage and developing Arar Seaport. In relation to electricity supply, State Electricity Company (PT PLN) is committed to supplying 50 MW Gas-Fuelled Power Plant (PLTMG) by the end of2017. Institutional structure of Sorong KEK has been established starting from Regional Council, Secretary of the Regional Council and Administrator of the Regional Council. |
